Heating Ice, Part 2

Once again, we spent most of the class period heating ice and taking the temperature of the contents of the beaker. Today, we used an electric burner (portable stove top) as our heat source. Students collected data and recorded it in a data table, and observed changes in the beaker and the ice as time passed.

Tonight's Homework: Complete your data table. Write a paragraph about what happened to the beaker throughout the course of your experiment. Write a second paragraph about what happened to the ice during the experiment. This assignment is due at the beginning of the period on Friday, September 14th.
