Transforming Data into Graphs

Sixth grade science students will become proficient at collecting data and transforming it into different types of graphs. To meet this goal, we spent most of the period today learning about the required components of well-made bar graph. Students received a handout that reminds them of the key things that must be included on any graph they make for science.

Tonight's Homework: Using the data we collected in class last week, make two separate bar graphs to represent the data. Be sure to include all of the steps listed on your yellow handout. These graphs are due on Thursday, September 13th.
