Students spent most of the period designing their own experiments, which will be run during class on Thursday. Students were allowed to change a variable from our previous "Heating Ice" experiment. Students had time to discuss with their group members what question they wanted to investigate, what materials to use, and what procedure to follow. Students wrote their own scientific plan (question, hypothesis, material list, and procedure). These plans will be required before experiments are conducted on Thursday.
Tonight's Homework: Finish writing up the question, hypothesis, list of materials, and procedure for tomorrow's experiment. (Most finished this in class today.)
