After going over last night's homework, students were introduced to the theory of continental drift. Alfred Wegener, a German scientist, noticed similarities among fossil and rock layers and developed this popular theory, that has only recently been replaced with the theory of plate tectonics. Students began to create their own version of Pangaea.
Tonight's Homework: Finish gluing together your version of Pangaea and bring the completed model to class tomorrow.
