Today, we did the first part of an experiment that introduces students to several pieces of science equipment while practicing parts of the scientific method. Students worked in groups and measured the temperature of ice in a beaker as it set on the table at room temperature. Data was collected and recorded. Students will complete the final steps of this part of the experiment next week.
Tonight's Homework: Finish your data table, line graph and analysis of the melting ice experiment.
