Now that we know all of the parts of a scientific investigation, we worked together to design an experiment that meets all of the requirements and still lets us have fun. We will be chewing gum to see what happens to its mass over time on Thursday. We completed the following parts of the experiment today: question, background knowledge, hypothesis, materials and procedure. We still need to identify controls, variables, and collect the data.
