Sedimentary rocks come in three varieties--clastic, chemical and organic. We discussed the properties of each of these kinds of rocks, and looked at examples from each category. Students also reviewed vocabulary related to sedimentary rocks, including strata, permineralization, and petrified.
Tonight's Homework: Read pages 37 - 40 and answer the questions on page 40.
