Students learned how to use a dicotomous key to determine the identity of the minerals they have been testing. While using the keys, students determined they needed a few more details from the minerals (color, etc.) so they made last-second observations to help them discover the mineral names.
Tonight's Homework: Finish determining the identities of the minerals we've been testing this week.
