Using a map of the United States, students plotted locations of high intensity earthquakes and color coded the states as to the number of earthquakes recorded during a specific period of time. This activity is designed to help students understand that we live on a very active portion of the earth, indicating a tectonic plate boundary.
Tonight'a Homework: Be sure the Earthquake Risk Map and questions are done for the beginning of tomorrow's class.
