Students took a quick quiz over the expectations of graphing and data tabling. Once that was done, we began our gum chewing experiment. Students worked in groups of 5, and collected mass of gum data after every two minutes of chewing. We had music to chew to, which helped to regulate the experiment. Music choices included "Chew Bubble Gum, Lucy Lum", "Bazooka Bubble Gum Rap", and "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose Its Flavor on the Bedpost Over Night?".
Tonight's Homework: None! Just be sure to bring your data to class on Monday.
