Students received two handouts to take home and have parents review and sign. One was the course description, and the other describes grading options that students (and parents) may choose from. Both were reviewed with students.
We collected more data from students regarding the number of M and M tickets they received from the teacher today. This data was collected as a class, and students were asked to transform the information into well-labeled and neatly constructed data tables and bar graphs. Most got the data table done in class. This assignment will be assessed according to the criteria, rather than given credit for trying.
Tonight's Homework: Get your course description and grading option sheet signed and bring them back to class. Finish your data table and bar graph about M and M tickets, and bring that to class on Wednesday.
