Collecting Scientific Data

Today, we spent half of the period talking about conducting a fair experiment, and compared this to playing a fair game. We talked about controls and variables, and how good experiments have only one variable and many controls. We identified at least 5 controls we'll follow as we conduct our first "EGGS-iting EGGS-periment" tomorrow. Students learned how to use an electric scale to measure the mass of an uncooked egg. We will continue this lesson on Thursday.

Tonight's Homework: None, if you turned in your M & M data table and graph and signed course description today. Yeah for us!!
