Setting Up a Gum Chewing Experiment

Students worked together as a class to decide on an investigation that could be done with bubble gum. We settled on the question "What will happen to the mass of gum if we chew it for a total of 20 minutes?" We recorded what we already know about bubble gum chewing, and then made hypotheses about what we think will happen. We talked about the control of our experiment, and then listed the variable and materials. We will conduct this experiment during class on Friday.

Tonight's Homework: Study for the quiz you will take during class tomorrow. It's over rules of making data tables and graphs.
