Class started with cleaning old work from our notebooks. Students should share their "pipe cleaner" notebooks with their parents today, and then leave the collection of papers at home.
Students who completed their massing common classroom objects procedure and analysis where treated to a presentation made by Dominique, a visiting teacher from Zurich, Switzerland. She talked about how schools are arranged in Switzerland, how many hours students go to school each day (and how they all have 90 minutes for lunch each day!), and other interesting tidbits. Students who did not complete their homework were allowed to work on it in the hallway, under the supervision of the teacher.
