Students received weekly grade slips today. Remember, getting them signed and returned by Tuesday earns you extra credit.
Most students enjoyed watching me try to follow the directions they wrote last week for putting on socks and shoes or for making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Most directions were general and not entirely specific. This resulted in socks and shoes being put on in different and usually ineffective ways. The sandwiches were, well, interesting, to say the least. Many directions caused innocent containers to be stabbed, or sandwiches that were not acceptably made.
Tonight's Homework: Add more instructions (in a different color pen or pencil) to your original directions. This paper will be resubmitted tomorrow.
