Volume is the measure of how much space an object takes. Although there are three ways to measure volume, we are concentrating on how to measure liquid volume this week. To measure volume, we use a graduated cylinder (or graduate), and label our measurements in ml. This information will be useful to students later this week as they embark on finding the mass of different volumes of water.
Students turned in their mass collages, data tables and graphs today.
