Students turned in signed grade slips and rewritten procedures at the beginning of class today. The rest of our class time was used to learn how to properly use the balances in the classroom. Students worked in groups of two and three and learned how to inventory the gram masses, zero the balance, and then find the mass of an object of their choice. We will be using the balances to conduct investigations on Wednesday and Thursday.
