Because of the field trip to the Natural History Museum, some students missed class completely while others missed just the first few minutes of class. We adjusted to this chaos well, and were able to work as groups to plan experiments to answer the question:
"Is there a relationship between the volume of water and its mass?"
Students wrote about their background knowledge, hypothesis, and then listed materials, variables, and procedural steps to follow. These experiments will be carried out in class tomorrow and again on Thursday.
Tonight's Homework: Finish writing the procedure for your individual or group experiment for finding the mass of water.
