Using common materials of known hardness, students tested twelve minerals and determined the hardness of each. The relative hardness was recorded on the record sheet. This information will be used tomorrow as we try to determine the identity of each of the minerals.
Tonight's Homework: Read pages 4 - 7 and answer the questions on page 7. Try to answer as many questions as you can on the "Digging Deeper" worksheet--it's due on Friday.
