Students watched two short videos about the rock cycle and erosion. Because we still don't know for sure what the weather will be like overnight, definite due dates for test corrections and other work were recorded in planners.
We talked about two key theories that have governed science for centuries. Both uniformitarianism and catastrophism are discussed in the first section of Chapter 3.
Tonight's Homework: Read pages 56 - 58 in your book and answer the questions on page 58. This will be due on the next school day (either tomorrow, Dec. 19th, or on Tuesday, January 6th).
In addition, test corrections are due on January 6th. All students who scored lower than a "B" on their chapter 2 test are required to do this assignment.
