To help students understand tonight's reading about metamorphic rocks, we used a special form of Rice Krispies Treats and applied pressure to them to see how sedimentary rocks might react to severe forms of pressure. Pressure is one of two forces required to change rocks from one form to another. (The other is heat.) We will continue this activity on Tuesday.
Tonight's Homework: Read pages 41 - 45 and answer the questions on page 45. Also, be sure to complete the two worksheets you received last week.
