Analyzing Our Ice Melting Experiment

We spent the period learning about the parts of a scientific investigation while analyzing our experimental results. We learned good experiments have a question and/or hypothesis, background knowledge, a safe procedure, a list of materials, controls, and data that is collected and presented in an organized manner (table and graph). These data are analyzed and explained, and the experimental design is reviewed for errors. Students worked with me to identify many of these critical parts of a scientific investigation.

Tonight's Homework: None, unless you have gotten behind.
