Today's activity found students using two different pieces of equipment to determine the mass of objects found in the classroom. Students first used the electronic scale to determine the mass of 10 objects of their choice. The data was recorded. Then students found the mass of the same 10 objects using a plastic balance and gram masses. Although the balance looked like it might belong in an elementary school classroom, it produced amazingly accurate results. We will continue our study of mass tomorrow.
Tonight's Homework: Finish the analysis for today's activity. Also, be sure to come prepared for tomorrow's quiz over vocabulary and graphing.
