Puzzling Pangaea Pieces

Students enjoyed ice cream sandwiches that Alicia won in this week's M & M drawing. Thanks, Alicia!

We reviewed the layers of the earth and their characteristics. We then built several puzzles, using clues such as shape, fossil pictures, and mountain range remnants as clues to complete the task. This activity should help students build a map of the world using the "scribble colored" continents and islands.

Tonight's Homework: Cut out the scribble-colored objects, and try to build a map of the world where all the land pieces are connected. Glue your pieces to another sheet of paper, and bring the final product to class on Monday.

Happy Easter!
