Today, we tied together a lot of loose ends. Students reviewed salient points about superposition, catastrophism and uniformitarianism, and applied them to relative dating of geologic events. We then talked about our penny flipping data and graphs, and noticed the line graph looked a lot like our gum chewing data. Hmmm! We looked at several examples of fossils, and then made the first part of a plaster of Paris fossil.
Tonight's Homework: Read pages 64 - 72 and answer the questions on pages 67 and 72.
