Science
Today, we began our formal study of science inquiry, by reviewing the vocabulary related to conducting a science investigation. We focussed on the words question, hypothesis, data, data table, and graph. We watched the first part of a video describing key elements of the scientific method.
Math
We continued our study of fractions by looking at different ways to name a particular fraction. Although I would ultimately want students to express fractions in the simplest form, I stressed that fractions, like people, have multiple names.
Tonight's Homework: Get your grade slips signed and bring them back to class on Tuesday. Complete all questions on both sides of the Group Picture worksheet.
