Science
We talked about how use of class time was not being used effectively by all students, causing some students to receive incomplete grades and substandard scores. Students were reminded that doing a good job the first time through is worth the time spent on assignments.
Math
We continued our work fractions and decimals by doing an activity titled "Making Cents Out of Percents". Students worked in teams to gather data about the mint dates of pennies and translate the data into a table and graph. Students also completed a equivalence chart to compare fractions to percents and decimals. Best of all, no pennies were lost!

Math--Finish the Making Cents Out of Percents worksheet (both sides).
