After reviewing a list of 15 possible choices, students selected at least one topic that interested them related to the notion of making healthy choices in a world full of messages saying that consuming alcohol is a good thing to do. Students will do some kind of research and create a poster that communicates their findings in a neat and appealing manner. We spent some time planning our projects and doing some preliminary thinking about how to complete the project in a timely manner. All poster projects must be submitted by Monday, November 28th, but I am encouraging students to get things done and turned in early, if possible.
In math, we continued rounding numbers to different places.
Tonight's Homework:
Science--Start working on your poster project. I will have colored paper for you on Thursday.
Math--In the new Bits and Pieces II book, do ACE 1 (16-18, 23-25, and 43-47).
