We reviewed for tomorrow's test over computing with fractions and mixed numbers. Students will need to be able to estimate sums and differences, as well as actually add and subtract them with accuracy.
Two members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers visited our class today to talk about being safe while on the water (lakes, reservoirs and rivers). The highlight of the presentation had to be the activities students participated in which involved the wearing of drunk vision goggles. These activities drove home the point that alcohol can impact a person's judgement, reaction time, balance and perceptions.

Math--Prepare for tomorrow's test over adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers
Science--Prepare a thank you note for one of our presenters (Christie or Joe). Be sure to follow the guidelines we talked about in class on Wednesday (color picture on cover, note on the inside).
