Multiplying Fractions and the Water Cycle

In math, we reviewed our tests. Most students did well on adding and subtracting fractions, but had a little trouble with borrowing with mixed fractions and answering the questions asked on the word problems. Students were given time to recheck their work and submit alternate answers. Afterwards, we talked about Investigation 3.1, and what it looked like to multiply fractions in picture form.

In science, we reviewed vocabulary related to the water cycle (evaporation, precipitation, condensation, sublimation). We then began coloring a sheet of paper that we'll be able to use as a review tool later on.

Tonight's Homework:
Math--ACE 3 (1-3, 36, 37)

Science--Finish coloring your water cycle sheet (neatly, of course) and bring it to class on Tuesday
