We continued our investigation of dividing fractions by reading through lesson 4.2 in the book. I continued to emphasize what this looks like using pictures, as many students benefit from seeing the math in a visual manner.
In science, we looked at patterns between precipitation and temperature in different locations. For example, in Eugene, we get less rainfall when the temperature is warmer, and more rainfall when the temperature is cooler.
Tonight's Homework:
Math--ACE 4 (7, 8, 30-34)
Science--Using your precipitation and temperature data, write a summary/analysis of the data you collected for each of the three places you researched.
