Students reviewed how to multiply mixed numbers by completing problems on the board. More students are able to multiply mixed numbers accurately, but need work on simplifying answers completely.
We continued our study of precipitation rates throughout the world by looking at what happens in other places, both in and outside of the U.S. Students chose two locations to research and collect precipitation data to record and graph.
Tonight's Homework:
Math--Complete the 12 problems you copied from the board, and answer the Reflections questions on page 47 of your math book.
Science--Complete graphing your precipitation data from the two cities you researched in class today.
