In math, we continued our work with multiplying fractions and mixed numbers. We concentrated on changing mixed numbers into improper fractions, as this seems to trouble many students.
We started our investigation into weather and climate by looking at precipitation data for Eugene. Students gathered data from a website, and then graphed this as a bar graph. This will be a part of a larger assignment that we will complete over the next few days.
Tonight's Homework:
Math--Get your grade slip signed. Do ACE 3 (21-35).
Science--Get your grade slip signed. Finish the Decimal Downpour worksheet (chart and graph) if you didn't do so in class today.
