Student notebooks should be a bit lighter, cleaner, and perhaps more organized after today's school-wide notebook clean out event. Students placed papers they no longer need to keep track of in a pipe cleaner bound packet to store at home.
We went over subtracting decimals one more time, as some students forget to include a place holder zero in their numbers before subtracting.
In science, we visited a NASA-sponsored website and played "Go With the Flow". This game reinforces how heat sources and salinity impact the density of water and air currents.
Tonight's Homework:
Math--ACE 1 (33-36, 45, 46, 53-58). Enjoy the long weekend!
Science--Finish the "Factors that Influence Climate" worksheet if you did not do so in class today.
