Isobars, Decimals and Division

Students continued practicing dividing decimal numbers. Most need a little help with long division, so this week, we'll be focussing on this while using fractions and decimals to reinforce the process.

In science, we used our knowledge of how to make an isothermic map to make isobaric maps. These maps connect places with equal air pressures. These maps are rarely colored, but often have high and low pressure centers marked on them.

Tonight's Homework:
Math--BP3, page 39, all questions

Science
--Be ready to turn in the practice isobar map. Be careful--there are several closed loops on this map!
