Students learned who won the jeopardy review game today, and also found out their scores on the percent test. They also took some time to clean out papers from the math and science sections of their binders, making for a tidier binder and a packet of papers to share with parents over the weekend. This activity took much longer than I had anticipated, so our math lesson was cut short.
Students learned more about probability today through a series of activities. Our first activity was about probabilities without replacement, and students were able to see the connection to our recent studies of fraction multiplication and percent. Next, we looked at discrete outcomes. Rolling dice was a hit with the students!
Tonight's Homework:
Math--None. Be sure to get dividers for your binder if you need them.
Science--No new work was assigned.
