To conclude our first investigation into probability, we examined many events to determine if the outcomes are equally likely or not. To be equally likely, an event must have the same chance of happening as another possible outcome of the event.
In science, we learned how the focus of an earthquake is different from the epicenter. (Thanks, Emily and Brandon, for being willing to participate in the demonstration!) Students had time in class to get started on homework.
