Who's Fault is It and Reviewing OOO

A guest teacher conducted class today, as I was at the district office attending a meeting about quality teaching and learning.

Students continued refining their skills on using order of operations correctly during math. Students were given 25 minutes to work on their homework, and many were able to get most, if not all, of the work done.

In science, students constructed fault block models to help them see what happens when land moves during an earthquake. Specifically, these models allowed students to see similarities and differences between normal, reverse (or thrust) and lateral faults.

Tonight's Homework:
Math--Complete the Order of Operations worksheet you received in class today (front side only). Be ready to take a quiz over this topic in class on Friday.

Science
--Finish the worksheet on the three different types of faults (both sides). It is due at the beginning of the period on Friday.
