Second Round of State Math Test Begins Today

Most students chose to take the state math test today. We will take the next three days to complete the test, ensuring every student has enough time to work through each problem. In science, we looked at how seismologists use the difference in speed of different earthquake waves to determine both the location of the epicenter and focus of a seismic event. The difference in speed between P and S waves is called the lag time. We completed most of a study sheet in class today; it is due on Wednesday, should students need a bit more time to complete it. Tonight's Homework:
Science: Complete the S-P Lag Time worksheet. Read pages 126-128 in your text book and then answer the questions on page 128.
Math: Complete the "Multiplying Whole Numbers" worksheet.
