Starting "Water in Apples" and Adding Fractions

In science, students began a week-long experiment to determine what, if anything, will happen to the mass of apples prepared in three different ways (unpeeled, peeled, and chopped). Students recorded their hypotheses, the beginning masses of their apples, made day 1 observations, and then cleaned up. In math, we continued with our study of adding and subtracting fractions. A quiz over this topic is coming soon!

Tonight's Homework:
Math--ACE 2 (19-27, 45, 50)

Science
--Write a procedure for how to set up today's apple experiment. Focus on being specific. If you did not finish your day 1 observations, be sure to do those tonight.
