By Golly, By Gum!

In math, we continued to work on picturing what it means to divide fractions by fractions and to divide mixed numbers by mixed numbers. This is proving to be quite the challenge for some students. Even so, we are making progress, ever so slowly, and the light bulbs are turning on in our heads every day! In science, we conducted our bubble gum chewing lab, and collected data about the mass of 5 different types of gum that were chewed to the beat of some really goofy GUM related songs. All in all, the kids seemed to really like today's activities.

Tonight's Homework:
Math--Home Book, page 43, all problems, and draw pictures for 19-21.

Science
--Make a line graph (or several of them, if you prefer) for the data you collected in class today. Remember to work on your project for health--it's due on Monday, November 19th.
