Students used the first hour of class to collect mass and volume data about their fruits, both with the skin on and without it. During the second half of the class, students had time to construct data tables and graphs to display their data, calculate densities of their fruits, and start writing the analysis for their experiment.
Tonight's Homework:
Math--Show how you calculated the density for each of your fruits.
Science--Finish the graph and analysis portions of your fruit experiment. Be sure to focus on the density of each item and compare it to the density of water.
