As we continue learning more about density, we spent some time today interpreting the results of our recent labs. First, we looked at the densities of the different liquids we measured, and created a density column, with corn syrup at the bottom, then water, vinegar, and topped by oil. After creating the density column, we placed objects into the column, and saw that some items that sunk in water actually floated in corn syrup. Amazing! We even shook up the column, and still observed that the layers reappeared.
Tonight's Homework:
Math--Correct every problem you missed on the quiz you received in class today. Some of you have very little homework to do for me tonight--Congratulations!
Science--None, as long as you are caught up. (Check your grade slip!)
