Students used paper clips to explore properties of circles. They discovered that the diameter is twice the size of the radius, and the circumference of a circle is 3 and a bit more times as long as the diameter. We then talked about probability, and used marbles in a bag to demonstrate differing probabilities.
Tonight's Homework:
Math--Bring in a round object. Finish the paper clip activity worksheet. In HLII, do ACE 2 (17-24 and 34).
Science--None.
